The 100 BMW Tech Solution Owners Initiative

Less than 10% of technology solutions are owned by black, minority or women (BMW) business owners. Advances in technology make it easier for anyone to own proprietary technology solutions to scale their business.

MI Group USA is helping 100 black-owned, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses to develop and own technology solution to grow their business.

Each business will be granted $5,000 toward their  professional discovery session with a Business Analyst, Strategist, and Software Architect to determine the requirements of the technology solution being presented.

FAQs

Any business can apply to participate but we are primarily looking for the follow:
– Businesses that are majority owned (at least 51%) by a minority, black or woman.
– Businesses that are generating revenue and seeking to grow and scale.
– Businesses that have an idea for a technology solution or have already started working on such solution.

The evaluation process can take up to 1 week. After which, you will be contacted with the next steps.

The discovery session typically runs for a total of 3 hours. This can be split  between two days but is more feasible to do it in one sitting.

Yes, we will notify everyone on their application status after review.

Yes. We recommend doing so to protect your idea.

After the discovery session, we will share a development agreement with you to review and sign in order to share documentation of the discovery session which will include project scope, timeline and budget.

100 BMW Owned Software Assessment

The 100 Black-owned, Minority-owned, Women-owned (BMW) Small Business Technology Solution is an Initiative by the MI Group of Companies. The initiative will provide 100 businesses with help to build proprietary software based on their existing business or as a new business that can help them to scale. The initiative will award $5,000 in discovery session grant for up to 3 hours to qualified businesses. This amount will be credited to their overall technology solutiont cost.
